Terrance Hicks was born to Dennis and Gladys (Deceased) Hicks in Athens, Ohio on January 27, 1969. He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at University Hospital.
He completed his education at Berkeley Senior High School. He later attended the University of Missouri in St. Louis, graduating with a degree in English.
Terrance moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 2018 to care for his paternal grandmother Juanita Voltz, now deceased. He later joined the Church of God of Cleveland and has been a faithful member.
Terrance was an author and published a book about Gospel Poems entitled "Kernels of Corn". He was also a phenomenal photographer, he captured all of God's beauty with his eyes.
Brother Hicks became a member of our Sound Team/ Media Ministry as a soundboard technician. His spiritual father was Pastor Abraham Jeter Jr. and his spiritual mother was Lady Chrystal Carr Jeter.
Terrance held numerous jobs positions and titles but he ultimately settled at All Freight Delivery, LLC, where he was a warehouse laborer.
On October 26, 2020, he married his loving and loyal wife Emilette Hicks whom he called his "Angel". From this union, Terrance gained three stepchildren.
Terrance leaves to mourn his passing his wife Emilette Hicks, three step children Eric Finklea, Danielle Neuhoff (Depriest), and Emilette Hewitt, 10 grandchildren, father Dennis Hicks of St. Louis, MO, brother Todd Hicks, Aunt Tommie McIntosh, cousins Shanita Gray ("T"), Donnita McIntosh, Ricardo Browning, and a host of other relatives, friends, and church family.
