JoAnn Johnson was born to the late Mrs. Evelyn Sumlin-White and Tommie White on October 25, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the 9th child of 12 children. She attended Addison High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She confessed Christ at an early age. JoAnn Johnson was married to William Johnson Sr. on August 17, 1981, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, friend, and grandmother. She was proceeded in death by her father: Tommie White; mother: Evelyn Sumlin-White; and a brother: James Edward White.
JoAnn leaves to cherish her memories: husband: William Johnson Sr.; sisters: Hattie White-Johnson, Ethel Mae White-Holiday, Evelyn White-Benson, and Eleanor White; brothers: Bobby White, Henry White, Jimmy White, Robert Jr. White, Melton White, and Charles White; sons: Gregory Lamont White Sr. and William Johnson Jr.; daughters: Sharale Johnson and Yolanda Johnson; 20 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, family, friends, nieces, and nephews.
