Darlene Novak Smith, age 58 of Twinsburg, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at The Avenue Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 14, 1964, at (hospital) and was raised in Strongsville, Ohio. In her younger years, Darlene enjoyed music, making chocolate candies, and spending time with friends. In 2002, she married James and they had a beautiful daughter named Zoee. Darlene was a loving and proud mother. Darlene loved to share herself, whether it be a story, a laugh, her cooking, her pictures, her crafts, or just a quiet cup of coffee with you. Cheering people up or bringing a smile to others brought her great joy. Her heart was always looking for how she could help others within her means. She enjoyed reading, crafting and watching cooking shows and movies of any genre. She absolutely and unconditionally loved her immediate and extended family and Jesus.
She is survived by her husband James Smith, daughter Zoee Smith, brother Craig Novak of New Albany, godson, and nephew Tom (Katie) Montague of North Olmsted, goddaughter and niece Tara Montague of Olmsted Township, niece Tracie (Jason) Wilkins of Pataskala, nephew David (Kristine) Novak of Connecticut, nieces Karrie (Heath) Newman of Medina and Niva (Tomas) Cruz of Parma, Very Best Friend Jennifer Zeitz, lots of cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew. She was preceded in death by parents Clarence Novak and Gloria Novak; sisters Karen Pratt and Debbie Montague.
